He has 25 years of international and national experience in project/ programme management of large social development, water, agriculture, livelihood, climate change and infrastructure projects having components of urban infrastructure including mixed use land development, slum rehabilitation and redevelopment, water supply and sanitation, climate change, disaster risk reduction and response, school infrastructure, agriculture-irrigation infrastructure, housing finance, watershed management, etc. funded by multi-bi-lateral, govt. and private sectors. His international experience is about 12 years in Nepal, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, Canada and Afghanistan.

He has worked on senior positions with CRISIL, Billion Bricks Singapore, World Vision International, Habitat For Humanity, ISAP, AFPRO and other leading national and international organizations.

Sujay Sarkar is a PhD scholar specializing in Climate Change. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Oil & Gas Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Sarkar has also completed several executive programs in sustainability and climate change from prestigious institutions, including the University of Cambridge and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). He is a GRI-certified sustainability professional and a Certified Carbon Management Leader from the Chartered Institute in the U.K.

With over 14 years of experience, Sujay has an extensive background in sustainability, ESG strategy, carbon management, and climate action across sectors such as Oil & Gas, Real Estate, and Telecommunications. He has led diverse teams and managed projects both nationally and internationally, earning recognition for his expertise in sustainability strategy development, ESG reporting, and regulatory compliance.
